The company has completed a Rs. 850 million project to revamp and de-bottle-neck its crude distillation unit to increase the current capacity of 18,000 bpd to 30,000 plus bpd. The project installed a new crude furnace, a pre-flash column, heat exchangers and new pumps at the refinery shutdown in 2007 and the extra capacity will be fully commissioned in February 2008. In addition that, addition and up gradations in the off-sites and utilities were made to meet revamp requirement, which was completed with a capital of over Rs 250 million.
UOP performed the outline engineering of this project, ENAR Petrotech Services Limited developed the Basic Engineering Package and Descon Engineering Limited performed the detail engineering and construction.
